"We are impressed by the modern entrepreneurship in this company"
A new building offers new possibilities! That is why we have not only focused on expansion, but also on sustainability during the development of our new building. The result? A sustainable building, full of greenery and LED lighting. And something we are really proud of: a total number of 1.120 solar panels on our roof. This is the largest solar panel project in Boxtel and the panels generate more than enough energy to provide our entire company with this green energy.
Because this sustainable approach and our growth did not stay unnoticed in the Boxtel municipality, our year started with a visit from the mayor and aldermen. They were very curious about our new building, the growth of the company and our vision on entrepreneurship. After a complete tour the reactions were very positive! So we were very pleased to read their reactions on social media.
Peter van de Wiel: "The Boxtel business community takes great responsibility in tackling climate change, something we can be very proud of. A good example is DM Wheel Systems, the successful company at the Schouwrooij of Frank and Christian van Schaaijk. This beautiful family business in Brabant has recently moved and they have taken this opportunity to make real progress in sustainability. They use a lot of LED lighting, the building has a green roof terrace and as cherry on the cake there are no less than 1.120 solar panels installed on the roof!! This is a really nice move, because it is good for the environment and it also generates money.
The Municipal Executive of Boxtel is of course very happy with these kinds of initiatives and therefore paid them a visit. At first, we had an extensive tour through the company with Frank and Christian giving explanations. We are really impressed by the modern entrepreneurship in this company."
Let's hear it for the next generation!
Not only the Municipal Executive of Boxtel paid us a visit, we also welcomed a nice group of students from the Baanderherencollege in Boxtel. This way we want to make our future colleagues enthusiastic about a technical profession. We can for instance show how the old and old-fashioned image of the sector has long been replaced by modern techniques and robotics.
